Lonely Places Page 14
I am rethinking my original estimate of 50-60 pages to finish this script and gonna have to expand it out to more like 70 or 80 I think. <shrug> Still learning the ins and outs of Manga Studio (the program I use for pencils). I still wish I had a wacom, but oh well, since I have never used one I will assume it sucks and won’t work for me.
Either way, here’s page 14, page 15 will actually finally get into some action. Should be interesting for me to draw as well.

Oh man! Why is it that jobs always seem to expand beyond our estimates? LOL. Welcome to the club, Hardcopi. My fic does this to me all the time, despite my best efforts to rein in the wordy. Hang in there! Everything looks good from here, so don’t stop! I want to see how page 15 turns out, as well as the rest of the adaption. ^_^
And the WACOM doesn’t suck. So not sucks. I wonder if you can find a used one on Craigslist? Anybody got any ideas?

I will manage without a wacom, heck most of the time I am using my laptops touch pad… that can get frustrating.
The biggest problem I am running into is that the script isn’t written for a comic book form, it is a screen play. Which can change shots 10 times in 30 seconds without seeming odd. If I attempt that on a comic book page then the pacing will just go out the window. Hence the compromise of the colored balloons. I need to put up a legend so you can tell who is who.
If you are interested in drawing comics on the computer with or without a wacom tablet I would highly suggest Manga Studio for the line part… it is incredibly simple and powerful for that.
